Rick Hires joined the Airsman - Hires firm in November of 1974. He is the son of Jesse Hires, former partner in the Airsman - Hires firm. A 1974 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Rick also graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1976. Rick is married to the former Patricia Holterfield Becker and has 2 children: Kristen Sammons and Brian Hires, one granddaughter, Lia, 3 step-children and five step-grandchildren. Rick is the President of the Carrollton City Cemetery Board and is the Deputy Coroner for Greene County. He is the Community Advocate for the Internal Review Committee of Carrollton High School and is a board member for the District 1 Quality Education Foundation. Rick is a Public Address Announcer for the Carrollton High School Basketball teams, the Hawks and Lady Hawks. He is a member of the Carrollton Lions Club, the #1 Booster Club for Carrollton High School Athletics and Carrollton First Baptist Church. Rick enjoys public speaking, writing music and performing vocally and on his guitar, basketball, golf and tennis.
