Wyatt and Trish Sager- Manager / Funeral Director
Wyatt is originally from Astoria and graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1976. He moved to Beardstown and began serving families in 1978 with Sager-Northcutt Funeral Home - now Sager Funeral Home. His wife Trish graduated from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and taught first grade for seven years. She has been working alongside her husband since 1990. Wyatt and Trish have two children, Nicole (husband Jason) Potts and Justin (fiance Kacy), and three grandchildren Caroline, Charlotte, and Henry Potts. They are members of First United Methodist Church in Beardstown. Together they enjoy music as Wyatt loves to sing and Trish loves to play the piano. They also enjoy traveling, fishing, being outdoors, and being together with their family. Wyatt is an avid hunter and woodworker while Trish enjoys sewing, reading, and shopping
Stephen Colwell- Funeral Director
Originally from Franklin, Stephen graduated from Western Illinois University in December 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Family Consumer Science. He received his Mortuary Science degree from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg in 2009. During his year as a funeral director apprentice, he and his wife Abbie moved to Beardstown to assist Wyatt and Trish. He and Abbie have been enjoying the activities that the community has to offer, including the Beardstown Fall Fun Festival, Taste of Beardstown, and the Christmas Celebration. They readily anticipate raising their family in this community. Stephen enjoys the outdoors, golfing, and traveling in his free time
