| Kathie A. McGinley, age 89, of Pittsfield, Il. died Wednesday evening (Jan. 30, 2008) at the Eastside Healthcare Center in Pittsfield, Il. She was born June 17, 1918 in Quincy, Il. daughter of the late James and Olive Manker McGinley. Surviving are two sisters, Mary Raftery and husband Harris and Pauline Riley all of Pittsfield, Il.; one brother, Terence McGinley of Searcy, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Raymond and James McGinley. Ms. McGinley was a housekeeper for Green Acres Motel in Pittsfield for many years and prior to that, worked in Chicago, Il. as a young lady. She was a member of the St. Marys Catholic church where she was active in the alter society at the church. Kathie loved the outdoors and loved doing yard work. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday (Feb. 4, 2008) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pittsfield, Il. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Pittsfield, Il. There will be no visitation but friends are invited to the Mass. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.airsman-hires.com.
