| Clyde Eugene Sanders, 66, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 26, 2008 at Passavant Area Hospital. He was born January 22, 1942 in Winchester the son of William Wesley and Bertha Leona Newlun Sanders. He is survived by 3 brothers, William Sanders, Joe Sanders and Carl Sanders all of Jacksonville; two sisters, Frances Pence of Rockport and Evelyn Stewart of Colorado and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ada Henderson and two brothers in infancy, Charles and Junior. Mr. Sanders had worked at Barr’s Laundry and later at Elm City Center. He enjoyed going to work, drinking Pepsi and coffee, singing “Heartaches By the Number??? and his friends at JDC. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Jacksonville East Cemetery.
