| Lucille B. Taylor, 97 of Winchester went to be with her God and family in Heaven early Saturday morning February 27, 2010 at St John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born March 17, 1912 in Winchester the daughter of the late George and Maude Blackburn Yelm. She married Ira A. Taylor January 3, 1942, and he preceded her in death March 13, 1994. Also preceding her was a brother Del Yelm, sisters Hester Yelm and Merideth McLaughlin, niece Betty Capps, and Sharon Miller, nephew James McLaughlin and great nephew Bob Capps. Surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews including Audrey (Bob) Winstead, Charles (Toby) Yelm, Chris (Sid) Landon, Art Capps, Debbie Watkins, Crystal Elliott, Kelsey and Karley Piper, Mike (Brooke) Elliott, Toni and Sydney, Gena (Tony) Judkins and Derick, Tom (Jill) Watkins, Tina Watkins and Wesley,and Ed and Josh Miller. All who were very special in her life. Lucille was a graduate of Winchester High School. She worked at Harding Floral in Winchester in Scott County Treasurer’s office and assistant to her husband as Supervisor of Assessments. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday March 3, 2010 at the Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will be in Winchester City Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 PM Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 6 until 8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Winchester EMS.
