Marilian J. Mason, 71, of Franklin passed away Saturday evening, June 9, 2012 at St. John’s Hospice in Springfield. She was born July 3, 1940 in White County, IL the daughter of George Odell and Rosa Graddy Wilburn. She married Raymond F. Mason on August 31, 1959 in Jacksonville and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2008. She is survived by one son, Raymond (wife, Jeni) Mason of Franklin; 3 daughters, Fran (husband, Max) Schnorf of Springfield, Patty (husband, Rick) Meado of Jerseyville and Dawn (husband, Luke) Rotherman of Waverly; 8 grandchildren; her mother, Rosa Wilburn of Franklin and two sisters, Rosalee (husband, Melvin) Roegge of Franklin and Nellie (husband, Lyndell) Rochester of Waverly. She was preceded in death by her father. A private service will be held. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Hospice or Franklin Cemetery. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
