Emma Maurietta McCann Holtman, 72, of Jerseyville died at her residence on Tuesday afternoon June 19, 2012.
Born in Carrollton on Sept. 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Rei McCann and Ida Marie Watson McCann. She married Dwight Dale Holtman and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are 2 grandchildren: William and Cathy Goessman, 3 sisters: Eleanor McCann of Jerseyville, Marie (husband Lawrence) Spencer of Jerseyville and Doris (husband Terry) Puckett of New Baden. A step-sister: Diane Demko of Alton and several nephews and nieces also survive.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and daughter Sharon Goessman.
She loved her family and loved to sew. She will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be from Noon until service time at 2 P.M. on Saturday June 23, 2012 at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton. Following the 2 P.M. service, burial will be in Medora Cemetery.
