| Debra A. Ferguson, age 57 of Roodhouse, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born March 7, 1955 in Carrollton, the daughter of Dale and Viola Marion Grizzle. Her father survives in Kane. She married Ronald Lee Ferguson, Sr., on December 23, 1977 in Springfield and he survives. Also surviving is a daughter Julie (husband Ron) Moore of Roodhouse, and five sons, Ronald Lee (wife Danit) Ferguson, Jr. of Henry, TN., Christopher Ferguson of London, England, Loren (wife Cari) Ferguson of Henry, TN., Michael Ferguson of Henry, TN., and Franklin (wife Doreen) Ferguson of Palmersville, TN. There are 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a brother Steven (wife Deidre) Alexander of Roodhouse, and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother Viola Marion Alexander, her stepfather, Everett Alexander, and five grandchildren. Debbie had worked as a home health care aid. She loved joking around with people. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and fishing. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at Pine Tree Cemetery at Patterson, with Russell Rice officiating.
