Randy Hires graduated in 1986 from the Mortuary Science Program of Southern Illinois University’s School of Technical Careers. He has been a part of the Airsman - Hires family since 1984. He is the son of Jesse Hires, former partner in the Airsman - Hires firm. Randy is married to Angie and together, they have 2 children: Nick and Adam. Randy is involved in the Pittsfield community as a member of the Pittsfield Rotary Club. Currently, he serves on the club’s Board of Directors and is Rotary International Youth Advisor. He sings with the Rotary Club’s barbershop quartet and performs with them throughout the state. He is also a board member for the Pike County Cancer Society. As a funeral director, Randy also serves the families in the community of Griggsville. He is involved in the Griggsville community as a Volunteer Fire Fighter for which he serves as the active Secretary for the 2000/2001 term. He is also a member of the Griggsville Masonic Lodge #45 A.F. & A.M. and a member of the Quincy Valley Consistory Order of the Scottish Rite. In 1999, Randy was named Griggsville’s "Honored Citizen" at the annual Apple Festival. Randy is the youngest recipient of this award. Randy enjoys computers and electronic gadgets. He also enjoys hockey, rollerblading, music and life.
